gemtext over html over gemtext

This is just a fun little entry. Today I noticed the web proxies advertised over at circumlunar.space and thought, if my html2gmi could serve these pages, meaning I would proxy gemtext-content converted to html and convert this back to gemtext.

And yes, it is working. It is not working well as, but it is working:

• Lists do currently not work as these are not implemented yet.
• Links do not work for some reason.

So, did you ever want to waste computing resources to convert content back and forth, and get a worse (it is not really worse, gemtext is just bloated. Who needs links and lists anyway?) result? This is the future.
