I'd recommend linking to the Agate gemini server too, it's really simple for serving static content only (no cgi). I don't use it anymore, but it really made starting a capsule super easy for me until I felt more comfy

Creating your own Capsule — I'm about 50% done on a HOWTO for setting up and creating a capsule. The meat of getting a server running is there, I just need to flesh out the rest (atom feeds, tinylogs, etc.) I'm hoping to share this link with new people coming in and asking for help.
