Do you happen to have an iPhone with a ProMotion (120 Hz) display?

I have noticed some UI refresh issues with SDL on iOS that influence the smoothness of the frame rate. It looks like an SDL problem because the actual UI drawing takes very little time. I'm continuing to monitor and observe this, but it may be that the problem cannot be fully solved without dropping SDL on iOS.

My device is iPhone XR, so 60hz for sure.

One weird thing that I've noticed is that sometimes when the refresh feels stuttery, rotating the device to landscape and back to portrait makes the issue go away...

Closing as obsolete. There is nothing in particular here I can address, nor have been wide reports of scrolling issues.

While scrolling on iPhone I see very small and discrete steps scrolling and it relates to speed.
