Or you could take this opportunity to switch to a long-lived self-signed certificate (which you can easily produce with gemcert).

I also suggest self-signed.

I think the third time my cert expired and every client had to manually override the mismatch was when I finally broke down and split the web and gemini certs.

Thanks guys. I went for self-signed, now I have a key which will only expire in 99 years. I'll keep using LetsEncrypt for HTTPS but this really is easier.
