Based on Junji Ito's manga? I think I heard mentions that the anime was happening. I didn't realize it was out 😲 Although I might be too much of a scaredy-cat to watch the anime, but the manga was great! Got a couple other of Ito's works too (Gyo and Tomie).

Loved the manga of course. Have had it on my shelves for years and enjoyed it many times. I just hope it works animated. I seem to remember that they've tried animating Ito's work before, but it didn't turn out that great. I will probably not watch it, but if I read that it is good, I might pick it up later.

yeah his previous animated stuff wasn't great. But this time it feels like they used mostly original work as a based and animated that. It is also in black and white.
