ASCII art with ANSI colors is fine but if you use for example telescope for browsing gemini space, the ANSI colors won't be displayed and will distort the image with the ANSI codes.

Yeah, generally speaking, you shouldn't use ANSI colors on your gemtext pages by default. Client support is too varied, as ANSI colors are generally meant for terminal emulators to deal with.

If you really want colors, I suggest making it an alternative version of the page that one can access.

@fab I did not know that, I checked my capsule on Lagrange and Amfora. It looked just fine on both, but yes I do remember Lagrange showing a terminal emulation warning. Thanks for letting me know @skyjake, I will keep the use of ANSI to the minimum. Just wanted to say, I am very grateful for your awesome browser and all other projects as well. I admire the time and effort you put into this. ๐Ÿ™
