I have done a pretty good job saving my money, only buying things that would improve my quality of life physically. However I saw a piece of limited run fractal artwork on etsy a few days ago and just HAD TO HAVE IT! Sometimes you have to treat yourself a little to something you truly want especially if you make enough money to have spending room.

I've been using libraries for the most part over the past few years for books, but it's still nice to have a collection of ones that you find to be very special and inspiring. And of course books on certain topics can be hard to find in libraries.

Yeah, I also flip flop on books.
Sometimes I think lots of books in electronic form in my hand is awesome, other times I just really like the feel of a real book.
I know which I prefer when it comes time to move house/apartment :) our next place is supposed to last a decade at least, so maybe I'll start to accumulate books seriously. Or not. Time will tell :)
