Ah, yeah, Vim. I made it a point to start using it as my main $EDITOR and learning a bit each of the new tricks or asking around how to make something happen.
Now I'm totally feeling like I got cut some fingers when I use any other editor, even the Vi emulations are quite lackluster compared the the full Vim (or Neovim) experience. Once you go Vim, you can never go back, but damn, if you really feel powerful.

The first thing I do is to install vim. I don't use many plugins, vanilla vim has so many features built-in such as autocomplete CTRL-X CRTL-L. Ctags is super useful will working with big project.
