As someone who has a RPi 4 (with an SSD for storage, through an Argon case) as its main machine: Are you using your 400 regularily, maybe even as main machine?

For me, the Rasperry Pi is mostly for retro computing purposes. I tend to run C64 and Amiga emulators on it.

I'm running the system off of an external HDD, which gives that nice old-fashioned experience of the hard drive softly crunching as it reads and writes data. ("Nice" in this context means how computers used to be when I was growing up.)

I'm actually typing this on the 400 right now. The system is performant enough, and the keyboard feels fairly pleasant, for this to be an occasional Linux development environment for me. Alas, I often don't get to sit at my desk and/or have need for Linux.

My original Raspberry Pi 400 developed a problem with its USB ports. The computer would lock up if one nudged the attached cables even a little bit. It’s been sitting on the table unused for months, yet still I felt compelled to buy a new one. And the new one works great! But it’s still sitting unused because I’m too busy with other stuff.
