KovoK Official Gemini capsule

We have finally created our own Gemini capsule, arguably becoming the world's first band to do so:

We are an Alternative Metal created in 2021 and based in Barcelona, Spain. Our influences are well-known bands such as Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, Linkin Park and Leprous, among many others.

We have just released our new EP, Take Away, which you can listen to by entering the capsule.

very good, yes! welcome in to gemini! I know there've been a variety of solo artists that publish over gemini, like myself and others who have posted here, and at most individuals hosting their previous projects or labels posting their catalog. A whole band themselves hosting on gemini!?? Amazing! Imma check this out right now and I'll post back on my thoughts. I'd love to cover y'all on an episode of a smallnet show i do on anonradio too. I was checking out the tracks on your capsule, but it looks like the MIME type is served as "application/octet-stream", which may cause clients not to recognize them as Ogg audio files. I suggest taking a look at the gmid FAQ about configuring the right MIME types (you need "audio/ogg" for .ogg files):

Oddly enough, I can't access the capsule from my browser. I consistently get a 0 bytes response. Something similar happens with your personal capsule with consistently fails with "Connection reset by peer". I just tried them both so maybe you see something in the logs at the same time of this comment.

I can access just fine from other clients, but I would definitely like to figure this out and fix my browser.

@lufte We had planned to write a song in Catalan (we in Barcelona, and Catalonia in general, speak both Catalan and Spanish), but these last months we reduced our efforts into writing new songs because of the new release.

OTOH, on the logs I can see some errors but are in fact caused by different IP addresses at different times:

@xavi I listened through the EP a variety of times. It's a solid release, and definitely a strong sound to debut here on Gemini!

I love the goth vibe of the first 2 tracks, a moody mellow groove on each. The last 2 really showcase more of the metal element, but Ignote Unknown and Hamster on a wheel are for sure leaning towards the punk and goth side in compliment to the shredding on Gas Gus and Path of Emotions.

The guitars, the effects and timbre used on them, the powerful vocal performance and range, amazing booming rhythms of the drums and the solid deep bass riffs, all fuse together to bring out the best in the sound and styles y'all possess.

I can't wait for your guys' next release! You've inspired me, also, to hurry up with my own projects again already and get back to it doing stuff here! I have some music over superfxchip.cities.yesterweb.org and userfxnet.flounder.online, but I've yet to put any over my personal capsule at the Hashnix pubnix.

That said, I'm compiling a playlist of tracks alongside other new geminauts that've hosted their music here since the first time I hosted a Gemini-based special on my show, and I'd love to include a couple of your band's with those tracks for a feateure on the Gemini protocol and potential it holds for creatives and techies alike!
