I would like to suggest if ever there is a desire to change, that first place gets 5 points, 2nd gets 4, 3rd get 3, 4th gets 2 and 5th gets 1 in the tournament. What I've noticed is that to get to place 1,2, or 3 you need to get such a high score that I end up playing more of a all or nothing. I see that if there are more positions/point I could be using a different technique of consistantly going for 4 or 5 place instead of a higher place. I think it would worth a try. When I play that type of dice the goal is to reach 10k and since all point accumulate I can you different technique to get there.

I second this. Now that there are more players, only giving points to the top 3 further accentuates those with good luck, while the tournament's purpose IMO is to reward players with consistent skill in their game.
