So, apparently to use certificate maps in elpher I have to use setq, customization does not work. Weird. Or it wants a different syntax for those two field (quotes?). In any case, (setq elpher-certificate-map '(("gemini://bbs.geminispace.org/" "file-name-part"))) worked, yay!
