Nice! I've seen a few of these floating around on gopher too, it's a fun little CGI scripting exercise to write an interface for figlet. In my opinion, to be usable it really needs a "preview text in all fonts" link to make it easier to browse through all the styles.

The output isn’t preserving space for me. So it’s all collapsed to the left of the screen. But great to see the service, I hope it works on my Lagrange client eventually.

Looks like Lagrange has a bug where it misdetects the content type because the MIME includes the "lang" parameter. I'll fix it...
