Anyone running OpenBSD on a laptop have any tips or tricks they want to share?

One tip I have is turning off hardware acceleration in Firefox. Before I did that the laptop would rapidly heat up, fans at full speed, and battery life signficantly impacted.

I guess the first thing I'd recommend is installing obsdfreqd. I've done that on the x270 and it's loads cooler with improved battery life. I set mine quite agressively when not on AC so most of the time I'm only clocking 0.8-1.1GHz. It's really flexible so you should be able to find a sweet spot for your usage.
