Batocera is a peculiar Linux distribution fundamentally dedicated to retro-gaming. As such, you are meant to use a gamepad or joystick to interact with it.
I managed to run Lagrange in it by adding it as what they call a Port, which is basically a wrapper for an AppImage in this case. Batocera allows you to define bindings for your gamepad buttons to keys on a keyboard. Because Lagrange now supports keyboard navigation, we can use Lagrange in Batocera without a keyboard or mouse (to some extent).
I think Lagrange in particular and the Gemini protocol in general are a great fit for projects like these that run on old hardware and are dedicated to sofware from the times of the old internet.
