@skyjake I was browsing a couple of capsules, and this idea 💡 hit me. I’d love it if Lagrange could remember which fenced blocks I collapse, so the next time I load a site, it restores them to their previous collapsed/expanded state. I know there’s a setting to choose whether I want them collapsed or not, but that applies to all blocks on all capsules.

For context, some capsules have huge ASCII art at the top. It looks nice the first few times, but after that, it just becomes annoying. That said, I’d still like to see other fenced blocks on the site without having to expand all of them manually.

I like the idea. However, it would come with the caveat that if the page contents change, the wrong block might be collapsed when you return to the page. Maybe not a huge problem.

I have no idea if this is even possible but, could Lagrange rely on a hash of the block content instead of the position? That way it would avoid collapsing the wrong block in case it moves.

Hashing is totally doable, if not a bit overly complicated, but then it doesn't work for any dynamic block. For example, if someone wants to hide their Astrobotany plant. It could be a decent compromise, though.
