I have a question: Why in the main post I can give Like and Thanks, but in the comments bellow the main post I can't?
I have been finding this very strange. Every time I want to give my support to a comment, the only option I find is to "give thanks". It feels a bit weird, since the option is already present in another place.

There was previously issue #41 where the same request was made. Back then, I implemented the Give Thanks action and figured that (in addition to commenting "+1" or something) was a sufficient feedback mechanism for comments.
Now with the comment-specific Actions menu, there is no reason for not including additional actions for comments. I could add a Like action in there.

I see, I didn't knew.
The thing is, sometimes we want other people to see we liked something, like endorsing the opinion of a person. I think this is the crucial difference to me.
