Out on our morning walk up through Galbally reserve & home again; magpies[1] and Rainbow lorikeets[2] up in the flowering eucalypts, the strident calls back and forth of a pair of butcherbirds[3]. Coming home there were the passing croaks and creaks of a Little[4] raven on its way past overhead. With the dull grey skies and cloud the bird calls seem to stand out more
