2022/0302/1000 — dingy or dainty

Out in the garden this morning and tidying up, I was picking up a fallen lime under the tree when I spotted a black and white caterpillar on a branch, appoximately 5cm long and I'd clearly disturbed it, it was waving the head end around and stuck out two large yellowy antenna which I'm guessing are very bad to eat.

I've seen a few of the large black and white orchard butterflies around, I took a photo and checked up the picture online, seems to be a Dainty Swallowtail[1]
