2019-04-05 Exploring random tables hidden in Hex Describe

Hex Describe is my mini setting generator that pulls together various other generators I’ve written: the Alpine map generator algorithm, the face generator, and the huge tables I’ve written (with copious amounts of random tables by other people). So now I’m thinking: this is really difficult to explore.

=> Hex Describe

For example, I now have Sindarin elf names. I already had a “no map” option where I could write stuff like this:

[elf]
[elf]
[elf]

But now I added a “explore the rules” section, where you can load a random table and then pick a rule from that table to generate a bunch of results. And you can link to it directly!

=> 20 elven names | a village | a town | 10 hoards | three orc lairs | four dwarven forges

And so on... take a look at the list of rules.
