I was thinking about Lasers & Feelings again – having all the feelings! – and Sorcerers & Sellswords by Ray Otus, and German translations of both, figuring I needed to host some PDFs on my site because Thorsten’s site appears to be down, and I visited Ray Otus’ site again, and I saw the link to There and Back Again, again.

The inspiration came from two articles about how the 1937 edition of The Hobbit differed from its more commonly read revised version and what kind of world was implied by that edition, sans Lord of the Rings or The Silmarillion.
