Do you use the rules for intelligent swords with Intelligence and Psyche, and contests of wills with the player character’s power diminishing as they loose hit-points? I’m looking at the Labyrinth Lord rules on p. 121 and I’m just not feeling it. Maybe an opposed Intelligence check would work just as well? Is there a benefit to using the more complicated rules?
