2010-11-08 Old School Blog Reading Kick-Start

If you’ve just recently started reading all those role-playing game blogs of the old school, you might wonder how you’ll ever manage to remember them all. Fear not!

  1. get a feed reader – these are stand-alone applications or web applications which allow you to read the “news feeds” of other blogs (personally, I use Google Reader)

  1. find the place where it allows you to import a subscription list (usually an OPML file)

  1. point it to the OPML file of the Old School RPG Planet – you may have to download it first and save it somewhere (the Old School RPG Planet collects all the old school renaissance blogs I know and then some)

  1. enjoy!

=> Google Reader | OPML file of the Old School RPG Planet | Old School RPG Planet | old school renaissance

That’ll subscribe you to a lot of blogs. 😄 👌

Next stop: information overload… ;)

Checked out Google Reader because you mentioned it here. Now I use it instead of the crappy one I’ve used before. Thank you VERY much, Alex! 😄

Cheers, Marcus
