Alex & Claudia, simpsonized I found a link to SimpsonizeMe on ChattyDM’s site ¹. It looks pretty amazing. And what’s even better: There is obviously some kind of “casual” software that can do (very rudimentary) analysis of the picture, choose appropriate elements from a library, and create a “simpsonized” image of you. And our mind is able to say “yes, they do in fact look similar!”

I’m not sure what surprizes me more.

And I always wonder: This kind of automatic image manipulation is always just a little bit beyond what I think I could do in my free time. Would I figure out a way to do it? Will I risk sinking days and weeks into such a project? I... don’t know.

Obviously I’m not thinking about the big flash interface – just some kind of image processing command-line tool would be cool enough for me.
