2007-04-05 Original Dungeons and Dragons

In an EN World thread about “Classic D&D” there was a post by Delta regarding his recent purchase of the original D&D rules (1974). There was a a link to his blog where he talks about the rules. Fascinating stuff.

A lot of it reminded me of M20: All hit-die are d6 (all weapons are also d6). But there is more: No rogue! Just fighters, clerics, and magic-users. Races are not separate from classes. Elves must choose to be a fighter or a magic-users for each adventure.

(Scary side-note: I hate it when people drop off the internet. M20 author GreyWulf and his partner stopped blogging.)
