🥫 Grandmother's Spaghetti Sauce

This is a recipe for spaghetti sauce that my grandmother used to make, according to my mother.

Measurement Units: US Customary

Ingredients

• 1 cup red wine
• 0.50 lb fresh mushrooms
• 1 6oz can tomato paste
• 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 0.25 teaspoon pepper
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 0.50 teaspoon basil
• 1 lb ground beef or plant-based meat
• 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes

Instructions

Brown the meat.

Mix and cook everything in a saucepan.
