My daughter has invited me to her dnd group. I replied it will be a while, and asked if she thought they would be interested in my ice age campaign. She was positive about it. This led me to switch to Basic Fantasy RPG[0] as the system will be recognizable to them. I have also acquired The Tome of Adventure Design, the Ice Age GURPS module, and a lot of other material that I am combining. I have read a lot on over prep, but I haven't done this before and I cannot help but equate it to any other aspect of life. I like to know what I am doing. Half-assing things would, IMHO, not be the way to go. So I will keep reading and plotting, and combining.
