a digital garden is a digital place where ideas are created and tended to, like a gardener may tend to their plants. new ideas are planted as vague, imprecise, and possibly incoherent words vomited onto pages, and slowly they grow into a more coherent and developed idea as the gardener slowly edits the pages over time. the beautiful thing about a digital garden is that it is inherently imperfect, and thats okay. imperfection is beautiful, and its a shame that society shuns imperfection.
=> (society kinda sucks to be honest.)
this site serves as a way for this one to cultivate its ideas in a messy garden. the format of a digital garden is something that has appealed to it for a long time, even before learning of the existence of the concept. unfortunately, it was never able to execute the concept because it never realised that it can just write without fear. perfectionism is a curse, and it wishes it didnt have this. but alas, it is a chronic perfectionist. perhaps this site can help make dealing with perfectionism easier.
every link between pages on this site is bidirectional, which means that if you can click on a link to go from page X to page Y, then theres a dual link from page Y to page X. these dual links are called "backlinks", and theres a list of them on the bottom of every page. this makes navigating the garden easier, as there is no tagging system. pages are grouped by relationships rather than what topics they cover. it may be interesting to see the topology of this site. unit 5fbe might make a hacky program to generate one at some point, or it might not. depends on how much spare time it has.
it hopes to update this site daily, whether said update is just editing a page or creating multiple new pages. it doesnt matter what the update is, as long as the garden remains tended to.
well, rip updating this site daily, it missed a day and has realised its not super able to edit the site daily. it might be a better idea to just edit whenever it feels like it. forcing it to edit the site daily will lead to burnout on this site and make it not want to update it, which is bad... this is supposed to be imperfect and stress free, after all! :3
=> welcome to the garden
